JANE EYRE BOOK REVIEW

Charlotte Brontë published her books using a male name instead of her own name, as female writers were not given much attention during the Victorian Era.

The Jane Eyre novel is also considered a feminist book. It deals with the transformation of a woman who leads a difficult life into a strong woman.

If we talk about the subject of the book without going into spoilers, after the death of her parents, she starts to live with her uncle, aunt and cousins. After her uncle's death, things at home don't go well for her anymore. The book tells about her leaving home and drawing a new path for herself.

In the book Brontë, touches Jane's periods of her life, including when she worked on Mr. Rochester's estate.

It was a very enjoyable and flowing book to read. The language was simple and engaging. Especially the part in which Mr. Rochester was included in the book, he always kept the feeling of curiosity alive. I always said "What will happen now?"

I liked the characters in general, except for a few characters. In fact, one of my favorite characters was Helen, although she hasn't a role for many pages in the book.

I can say that it is one of the books that left a mark in my life and will remain in my memory.

The book has been adapted into a movie many times. If you like movies shot in england set in old times i believe you will like this movie.

The book was filmed in different versions in 2006, 2011, 2019. In my opinion, the best fit for the atmosphere in the book seemed to be the 2006 movie, you can take a look at the trailers of the movies and decide which one to watch.
My favorite quotes in the book:

🌹🌹

"Human nature is flawed. Even the brightest stars have spots on them. Eyes like Miss Scatcherd's don't see the brightness of the stars, but they pick out these tiny specks."

🌹🌹

"Helen... Why are you standing next to a girl everybody knows is a liar?"

"Did you say everyone, Jane? Far from it! Only eighty people have heard of you being called a liar. There are hundreds of millions of people in the world."

🌹🌹

"I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent."
